John Hensley

is the deputy director for Industry and Data Analysis for the American Wind Energy Association. He directs AWEA’s analytical agenda through research and analysis on policies as well as collection and analysis of wind-energy market intelligence. Hensley leverages technology to efficiently collect, analyze, and distribute market data to AWEA members and stakeholders. He is responsible for AWEA’s suite of data services including quarterly and annual market reports, the U.S. wind market database, an interactive wind industry mapping platform, and various other data products. Hensley holds a Masters of International Economics and International Affairs from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Relations.
