The list ranks the 400 largest general contractors in the United States according to the previous year’s revenue. In 2008 Wanzek appeared on the list for the first time, holding position number 345. This year the company took a 168-point jump into position 177, after doubling revenues to more than $400 million. In 2008 Wanzek’s national portfolio of heavy/civil and industrial construction projects included, most notably, the installation of approximately 1000MW of wind energy generation capacity.
