RES in the Americas - Power for Good - 2017

Active in the global energy storage market since 2010, RES partners with utilities, investors, and independent power producers to help craft storage solutions for frequency regulation markets, distribution deferral, and outage mitigation applications. Recently RES ranks as one of the top utility-scale energy storage systems integrators per Navigant Research.

Located in Joilet, IL, RES developed and is constructing the 19.8 megawatt (MW) energy storage system, which will have the ability to store 7.8 megawatt-hours (MWh) of energy. Substantial completion is expected Q3 2015.

Webberville Solar Project

The Cedar Point Wind Energy Project, developed by RES Americas, is located approximately 80 miles east of Denver. The wind farm will deliver electricity to the Public Service Company of Colorado (PSCo), an Xcel Energy company, electricity transmission grid. The project will comprise 139 1.8 MW turbines and RES Americas is constructing the wind farm and transmission line through engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract. The project will produce 250.2 MW with an annual yield of approximately 875,000 MWh (corresponding to the annual consumption of around 80,000 Colorado households).
